This trail runs through an unknown and indomitable area in Campmajor valley, especially on the section from Roca to Briolf. The river usually has water, except in summer, so you'll need to cross barefoot. On the way back, the route runs through Can Pla and below Ca n’Oliveres, at the foot of the Collet de Guixeres.
Interesting Spots:
Roca Community (castle and mill): Roca castle (13th century) is at the end of the track where the trail begins, on the banks of the River Ser. The mill lies beyond here and, right alongside it, is the damn waterfall providing water. Population drift in the area has meant this is one of the best preserved places in the area. The complex of buildings and waterfall on the river make this a truly captivating spot.
Church of Briolf: The presently abandoned old village of Briolf was documented as far back as 977 and houses two important features. On the one hand, the single nave Romanesque church with a semicircular apse. A refurbishment from 1888 led to the destruction of the belfry and altar. On the other hand, the fortified tower, possibly dating later than the church, with a square floor plan and central Roman arch.
