Sant Miquel de Campmajor is located to the east of Banyoles and crossed by the River Ser. Today it includes the towns of Briolf, Falgons, Sant Martí de Campmajor and Ventajol. The municipality stands out for its cultural heritage and its beautiful natural spots. There are some castles and mills as well as different churches. The most important are in Sant Miquel de Campmajor and Sant Vicenç de Falgons. The devil’s gorge and many fountains around the area are also a distinctive feature.
